Pakistan Customs has approved a new off-dock terminal at Hawksbay, Karachi, operated by International Cargo Terminals Pakistan (ICT), a subsidiary of Denmark-based Scan-Group A/S. The new facility is expected to improve cargo handling capacity, reduce pressure on existing ports, and speed up customs clearance and trade operations. The project represents Scan-Group’s second major logistics investment in Pakistan after its Port Qasim facility, bringing the company’s total investment in the country to more than $30 million.
